Ichi-go, Ichi-e
In a ‘change-is-essence-of-life’ world where the universe is evolving, quantum realities, dimensional perspectives and environmental variables are changing, and technology is unimaginably shaping lives, the ‘moment’ is becoming arcane.
Primordial soup or infinite chaos, moments always subsist and moments have impeccable grandeur and the elegance yet the frailty of gossamer. But human life, with sequences and consequences, orderliness or disorderliness, preparedness or unpreparedness, deludes us from the ‘moment’ over which we have dominion.
In Japanese culture, Ichi-go, Ichi-e is an abstraction of treasuring the unrepeatable nature of a moment in this world of precepts, memories and associations.
Who is Sanjeev Siva ?
Sanjeev Siva is a wildlife photographer with a special passion for documenting the majesty and behavior of tigers. His work focuses on capturing not just striking images, but also the stories, moods, and patterns of the wild that often go unnoticed. For him, photography is a way to connect people with the wilderness, to inspire curiosity, and to foster respect for nature’s most powerful creatures.
His journey into photography was shaped by an unconventional path. He began his career, in the corporate world, as a software engineer, honing skills in problem-solving, precision, and attention to detail. Before that, he earned a B.Tech in Civil Engineering, where he developed a strong sense of structure, perspective, and spatial design. These disciplines continue to influence his photographic vision—helping him compose images that blend artistic beauty with technical depth.
Today, he dedicates himself to the field of wildlife photography, specialising in photographing, documenting, understanding behavioural aspects, and talking about conservation of tigers. Tigers, with their elegance, strength, and vulnerability, remain at the heart of his lens.
Through his photography, he aims to create awareness of their importance to our ecosystem and to tell the visual stories of the wild that deserve to be preserved for generations to come.

IT Consultant, Penman, Wildlife and Automobile Photographer, Practitioner of Conservation.
